On the 15th March 1973, five people sat down to form the Biggin Hill Light Operatic Society.

We have been producing an average of two shows a year since then and 40 years and many shows later the society has grown and metamorphosed into the Biggin Hill Musical Theatre Company. 

 

We have a few members who can still remember the early days, a few more who also are like part of the furniture as they've been around a fair while, a few who have come and gone over the years, a few friends who are far away and a few we have sadly lost. 

 

Each one loved, and treasured as part of BHMTC and as a member of our little theatre family.

 

More family like than you could think too, as all of our members end up getting their other halves or children involved too! 

 

We've had many a emotional moment with parent/child duets, siblings cast as siblings, and many husbands/wives beaming with pride from the wing whilst they lug scenery around as stage crew. 

 

We are hoping to update this bit of our website with some memories from over the years so watch this space !
